Get a priceA specialized firm, from the review to the final text
A law firm usually tells you what’s wrong without fixing it. A translation agency usually translates whatever you send it, without checking it against the Charter. French-language compliance is all we do: we review against the Charter, then deliver French text that meets it.
MOTCIBLE is a French-language compliance practice. Every file is handled by the practice, under the responsibility of a certified translator, a member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ): a written method, a complete second read and, where certification is required, a translation signed and sealed by the professional responsible for the mandate. Around each file, the practice brings together the language specialists and technical experts the work calls for, in close collaboration from the first call to delivery. You get the rigour of a specialized team, without paying for a large agency’s overhead.
A price you know before the first call
Every service has a published price. The written quote sets the scope and the timeline. We don’t bill by the hour.
Text that’s ready to use
You don’t get a list of problems. You get corrected French text, ready for your printer, your website or your filing.
Technical and certified expertise
OTTIAQ certification and rigorous technical terminology work: your manuals and spec sheets are compliant and technically accurate.

What our clients say
Frequently asked questions
Is MOTCIBLE part of the OQLF?
No. We are an independent firm. We prepare and organize your documents, but only the Office québécois de la langue française decides whether a company complies.
We have fewer than 25 employees. Does the Charter apply to us?
Yes. Registration with the OQLF is only required once you have 25 or more employees, but the rules on labelling, signage, websites, contracts and commercial materials apply to every business, whatever its size. Those are the rules most of our clients come to us about.
We are based outside Quebec. Does the law apply to us?
Yes, to anything you sell or advertise in Quebec: products, packaging, documents supplied with the product, websites, catalogues and advertising. We work in English, French and Spanish with Canadian and international companies.
Is the assessment fee lost if we go ahead?
No. If you book the compliance project within 30 days of receiving the assessment, its fee is credited toward the project.
Can you guarantee an OQLF certificate?
No. Only the OQLF issues certificates. What we commit to is the written scope: the agreed documents, delivered at the agreed price and by the agreed date.
How are our documents protected?
Your documents are used only for your project, and we agree on a secure way to share them before anything is sent. We’ll sign your non-disclosure agreement on request. See our privacy policy for details.

Describe your situation and let us know your deadline. We’ll reply with the service that fits, what it costs and how long it takes.
